Dr. Cameron George - Orthodontist

Cameron (Cadie) H. George, D.D.S., M.S. graduated from HCHS, received her undergraduate degree from Hope College in Holland, MI. After earning her D.D.S. from the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM), Dr. Cadie completed a General Practice Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Before returning to UDM to earn her M.S. in Orthodontics, Dr. George lived in Chicago for several years where she practiced General Dentistry and taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Dental School.

Dr. George was awarded the Alfred E. Seyler Award for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry by UDM and the AADS/Warner-Lambert Preventative Dentistry Scholarship by the American Association of Dental Schools, both in 1996. She was nominated for the Golden Apple Teaching Award each of the three years she taught at UIC Dental School. Dr. George is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is actively involved with the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Great Lakes Association of Orthodontist (GLAO) and the Michigan Association of Orthodontist (MAO). She has served as the Vice President of the Holland/Zeeland Dental Society and remains an active member.

Dr. George is an Invisalign® Certified Provider and has been practicing in the Holland area since 2003. Her work has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Her practice philosophy is to provide outstanding service as well as the highest quality orthodontic treatment. Dr. George, a native of Holland, returned in 2003 to join her father in practice. She and her husband, Bob, are the proud parents of a son, Gavin and boy/ girl twins, Keaton and Anika. Dr. George donates her time to Miles for Smiles and in School Dental Exams.

Dr. Daniel George - Orthodontist

Daniel C. George, D.D.S., M.S. earned both his D.D.S. and M.S. degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. George was awarded the Research Essay Award for his work on Class III Inheritance by the AAO in 1975. He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, Michigan Association of Orthodontists, and Charles H. Tweed Foundation for Orthodontic Research. He is a delegate to the AAO, past President of the Michigan Orthodontic Alumni Association (1997-2000), has served as President of the MOA (2000-2001) and has been a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontic since 1983.

Dr. George has been practicing in the Holland area since 1974 and specializes in TMJ, Sleep Apnea, and Orthognathic Surgery cases. His work has been published in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics (JCO). His practice philosophy is to give outstanding service as well as the highest quality orthodontic treatment possible. He says, "I love the relationships that we develop with patients, and seeing the progress that occurs from the beginning to the end of treatment".

Dr. George is a native of Chicago, IL and has lived in Holland since 1974. He and his wife, Mary, have three children: Cameron, Chip, and Morgan. Dr. George enjoys skiing, marathons, triathlons, sailing, reading, and traveling. He has been involved in Habitat for Humanity, the Boys and Girls Club, and other civic organizations.
